Twenty one years ago, St. Benedict Joseph Medical Center was a dream, a dream to serve our least fortunate brothers and sisters in the second poorest country in the Western Hemisphere. Today, it is a thriving medical clinic offering free medical assistance to those who would otherwise not receive it.
The St. Benedict Joseph Medical Center is a two-story facility with consultation rooms, a pre-op area, four operating rooms, recovery room, patient rooms for short term recovery after surgery, a pharmacy and dental clinic. The St. Gerard program for pre and post-natal care, rural health program. The clinic also offers ophthamology, psychology, and nutrition consultations.
